Our 25th wedding anniversary

I just can't believe it myself. How the years have flown bye!
We started with not much of anything. Some furniture from my 1st marriage,
a house (needing tons of work) from Beau's previous.

We each had three children each, and if I remember correctly..a bunch of bills.
(Jesus, has been the cornerstone of our past and our future.)
God, has kept us well and has provided for all of us.

Many years ago, I would have never thought, I would have lived in a little town called "Coxsackie".
My life was based on Long Island, and all that goes with the territory.
I loved "diners" (just to unwind). Kentucky fried chicken, and of course "Chinese Food "!!!
None of which was present in the Coxsackie area.
The only saving grace was a wonderful church family, and Pastor's..who had faith in God's direction for my life..(Al Isacksen & Titus Parrott).
Wow ...that was many years ago..
How Our God, brought Beau Hussey into my life, was just God's gift to me.
I could not have asked for a better father for my children.
They needed to know his kind of love. Beau is kind, sincere, faithful to those he loves and loooong suffering! ( Especially being married to me! )
He has been my helpmate all these years..I cook..he does dishes..I organize.. he vacuums...I get dogs...he shovels the .... : well you get the picture =)
I am truly thanking God for all he has done in a little house in Coxsackie
with a bunch of kids, many dogs, birds, parents, grandchildren, fish and possibly a hamster or two!!
When God has a plan
A wonderful plan
He creates it way in advance
Years before.as my heartache endured
He was molding and refining "THE" man
Leaving all that I was
And thought I could be
To a part of the world
Only to see...
My faithful father was there all the time
To lead me and teach me
A lesson Divine
I was not what I thought
Not so perfect ..was I
For, I saw it soo often in "OUR "children's sad eyes!
Abrupt and demanding, insistent
Oh! Yes
Yet loving and caring, when I was at my best!!

I needed a balance, to level me off
To see there was more to life
Than all that remorse !!

That balance that came
Was wrapped in a man
Beau Hussey was there
To lend me a hand
One guy, sent from God
To love and encourage
To be there for "OUR"
children..to uphold, and not discourage!!

Lessons I've learned, from a man they called "dad"
A great one at that...That's what I have!

He has shown his love, only a family man could give
And imparts it to his children, as lesson's to live!

I've learned alot in these 25 years
Every turn of the road and all those tears
Were a gift from God to speak the truth
I could do what he asked ( while still in my youth )

Thank You, our family
For acknowledging our Quest
And being apart of all of the rest !!
It was not what you wanted
Or what was intended
But, with Jesus and his spirit
somehow it blended
We love you soo much and all that you are
For in "OUR" little world
"YOU" are our only stars!!!!
