Ode to my 'Best Bud "

Today I have spent 27 yrs with one wonderful man.

Tolerant, loving and a true help mate.

He has never been anything less than my BETTER half.

His attributes are many..but his metal of honor..reads as follows..

" Best Father In The World "..

 God chose to place him in my life..as a sign of his love

 for me, my children and all those I hold dear.

So on this day..I thank you Lord..

Mr. Hussey has sure been my miracle..I've been experiencing  the love of my

heavenly father, and that of  a wonderful husband..all these years.

I am blessed!

I thought I was getting a puppy from Salem (near Delmar NY), but we were going to Washington County,
upstate NY..Three hrs later..there he was in all his glory. Thanks to Marie & Gabz..
I was able to adopt this scotty puppy. We have grown to  love this little guy soo much..

So on 01/08/08, we became a family!!  Happy Birthday  dear "Ridley"!

Yep..he's "65"...Since his day is really on Halloween...I thought the nite before would be OK to have a family dinner. So "Applebees" here we come.. If he had nothing  just having his family there  meant the most to him!!    What a Poppie!

So Much To Catch Up On !!

My mother in-law was honored at the Kaaterskill Nursing home this summer.
Her husband (my fathe in-law), was an olympic gold metal winner (1924).

They blessed mom with a bio on her and her husband.  She was blessed, to say the least!!

Liz and Todd came to visit mom with the children...What a gift for mom to be thought of and loved..

Poppies new boat

Ten years ago Beau went to a boat show and came home with a brand new Key West 20ft bow rider.

It was a blessing to us with all the grankids and all the skiing and tubing.  Since then we have been docking our boat all summer. I guess we got the itch for a cuddy again.

So I am looking forward to a good nite 

Now the keywest will be my son Joeys...a great get away from the family ....

My neice Michelle, should be on America has Talent. Why, cause she is all that and a bag of chips. As a child she could play an amazing piano and sing.

Her husband Joe, has a recording studio in their home, and has had many famous artists record out of his home. They live in Celebration FL., and do all the festivities, and corporate party's ect @ disney world.

Her twin son's have helped them work on Disney holloween celebrations at the disney park/ They are also musicians...amazing!!

Anyway, today I recieved an anniversary gift from her.That' s my girl..

Let me catch up...a little =(********

The days run into weeks, the holidays run into each other...and we feel like we are running also.
So much happening at one time...but not really!! It just seems that way.

I look at the pictures of all our grandchildren and realize how time really does fly bye.
Who are we kidding..were not mooie and poppie...just because...we really are grandma and grandpop.

Wow....But life is very rewarding at times...especially watching all the kids get older.

I mean all our children. They are all adults with a clan of their own.

Beau's wife is having a son #4 child. After three beautiful little girls, this is a great blessing.
Erin & Rob have 1 son, they are  in China right now adopting our latest granddaughter..Eden.
Liz and Todd...well they are the for-runners right now with 2 boys and 2 girls =)
Anthony has 4 children...2 girls .. 2 boys
Joey ...one of each...
and of course Meezie    with just one..."The Gabster"

I also realized that I had post's I never put up....so guess what
you'll be able to read them  xxoo

Some Random Moments with the Children & Family

Lizzy allows us to have the grandchildren whenever we can.  I try to now divide my weekends between the boys and the girls. This weekend Lizzy took Gabby and the boys swimmining and kept the older ones together all weekend.

I was blessed to have Addie and Katie.  We also spent a sunday celebrating St. Pats day...Gotta love cornbeef and cabbage!!

They really do have a good time!!
